Library cardholders know how valuable the Library is.With over 17.5 million items borrowed each year and thousands of Library programs available, the average cardholder gets $1,700 worth of value thanks to their Library card!

But the Library is more than just books and DVDs. These stories show the impact the Library has on Calgarians young and old. This work is made possible through the gifts of thousands of cardholders and Calgarians like you.
